By participating in the “Connecting with Each of Your Students” workshop, you will understand how to:
- Recognize that a student’s sense of belonging and inclusion impacts their learning outcomes.
- Develop strategies to learn more about students’ identities and perspectives in order to foster an inclusive and flexible learning environment.
- Know more about resources available at Yale to help you and your students, including the Student Accessibility Services office, the Poorvu Center, and other essential course supports.
To participate in this workshop, please enroll in the Poorvu Center Guided Support program for Yale faculty. This program consists of four core workshops and several supplemental workshops, as well as a one-on-one consultation. All components are optional for each faculty member.
